James Sparks

James Sparks has a diverse work experience in the construction industry. James began their career as an Engineer Intern at Centex Construction in 2002. James then joined Weis Builders as a Project Engineer from 2004 to 2006. After that, they joined Story Construction, where they held various roles including Project Engineer, Pre-Construction/Business Development, and Senior Estimator from 2006 to 2017. James is currently working at Henning Companies and has held positions including Senior Estimator, Director of Pre-Construction, and their current role as Vice President of Pre-Construction since September 2022.

James Sparks received their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Construction Engineering from Iowa State University, where they attended from 1999 to 2004. James also obtained a certification in Leadership Institute from FMI in August 2022.
