Gillian Blair

Performing Artist at Henri SELMER Paris

Gillian Blair is an accomplished saxophonist and music educator with extensive experience in teaching and performance. Currently serving as a Saxophone Tutor at Bangor University and The Grange School, Gillian also provides one-on-one lessons and chamber music coaching at the Junior Royal Northern College of Music and Rishworth School. As a self-employed musician since 2012 and a member of the Borealis Saxophone Quartet since 2011, Gillian has performed with dedication and artistry. Additional roles include being a musician with Live Music Now, a Performing Artist for Henri SELMER Paris Officiel and Vandoren UK, and previously the Head of Woodwind at Holy Cross Sixth Form College. Gillian holds a Master of Music and a Bachelor of Music (Hons) in Classical Saxophone Performance from the Royal Northern College of Music, along with early music education from Trinity Laban and West Kirby Grammar School.
