Philip Lambourne MCIOB has a diverse work experience in the construction industry. Philip started their career in 2002 as a Project/Design Co-ordinator at Frank Haslam Milan Ltd. In 2008, they joined Henry Boot Construction Ltd as a Planner, where they worked on both live projects and tender planning in various sectors including housing, MoJ courts, retail, schools, universities, hospitals, and small-scale civil engineering. Philip then took on the role of Lecturer in Project Management and Financial Control at Sheffield Hallam University from 2012 to 2013. Philip returned to Henry Boot Construction Ltd in 2013 and held several positions including Senior Planner, Project Planner & BIM Champion, Design Manager and BIM champion, and currently serves as the Head of Design & Information Management. Philip has actively contributed to the development of the company's BIM procedure, processes, and standard templates throughout their tenure.
Philip Lambourne MCIOB has a strong educational background in the construction and building industry. Philip obtained a BSc (hons) degree in Building Surveying from Leeds Metropolitan University, where they studied from 1998 to 2002. Following this, they pursued further education and completed an MSc degree in Construction Management from Sheffield Hallam University between 2004 and 2007.
In addition to their academic qualifications, Philip Lambourne MCIOB has also obtained several certifications related to project management and core tools from Procore Technologies. Philip achieved the Procore Certified: Project Manager (Quality & Safety) certification in December 2019, along with the Procore Certified: Project Manager (Core Tools) and Procore Certified: Project Manager (Project Management) certifications in November 2019. These certifications showcase their expertise and commitment to staying updated with industry standards and practices.
