Henry County Health Center

Henry County Health Center is a Critical Access Hospital with a rich heritage of caring for patients and area residents since 1921. Located at the Crossroads of Southeast Iowa, HCHC is a 74-bed facility, featuring 25 acute care beds, along with our 49 bed long-term care facility, Park Place Elder Living. As a community-based health center, our patients are often times family members, friends, and neighbors. HCHC’s associates are committed to meeting the needs of our patients, and are truly dedicated to providing the highest quality care. In addition to the compassion and commitment that runs throughout the organization, HCHC has experienced numerous state and national accomplishments. These are all notable achievements for a facility of HCHC’s size, and we will continue to build on these strengths to ensure a strong future for HCHC. In 2021, Henry County Health Center welcomed the centennial anniversary with an expanded partnership established with Great River Health. On July 1, 2021, Great River Health began operating the health center. The partnership provides financial stability to the health center and Emergency Medical Services, and offers expanded health services to area residents while strengthening the region’s health care delivery system. This relationship ensures that the health care provided by HCHC continues to be managed locally and that high quality health care will remain close to home for years to come.
