Ralph Francescone is a Research Assistant Professor at Fox Chase Cancer Center, where involvement in the Cukierman Group focuses on the role of the extracellular matrix in pancreatic cancer progression. Previously, Ralph held the position of Postdoctoral Fellow in the lab of Sergei Grivennikov, investigating danger signals in tumor-elicited inflammation. Prior to this, Ralph completed a PhD in molecular and cellular biology at the University of Massachusetts Amherst, working under Rong Shao on translational research related to tumor vasculature in glioblastoma. Additional experience includes serving as a Teaching Assistant for biochemistry courses and a Clinical Research Intern at Ophthalmic Research Associates. Ralph holds a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from Merrimack College.
