Tracy Thomas

Tracy Thomas is a seasoned professional in workforce planning, development, and diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) with extensive experience across various industries. Currently serving as the Director of Workforce Planning and Development at Henry Ford Health since September 2025, Tracy previously held a series of leadership roles at General Motors from April 2022 to August 2025, focusing on DEI initiatives and community partnerships. Prior experience includes positions at DTE Energy, where strategic projects enhanced career access in marginalized communities, United Way for Southeastern Michigan, and multiple nonprofit organizations, where Tracy spearheaded significant fundraising and marketing initiatives. Tracy holds a Master of Social Work degree from the University of Michigan and is certified in Fundraising and Development from the Indiana School of Fundraising.
