Jacalyn S. Goforth is a retired partner of PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC), where she served in PwC’s Private Company Services Assurance practice. For 34 years, she served high-growth companies in primarily the retail, technology, manufacturing and services industries.
Her experience encompassed structuring accounting systems for both existing corporations and those in the development stage, obtaining the requisite financing to support corporate growth strategies, and assisting clients with reviews of internal control systems.
Goforth is an experienced board member. In 2022 she was appointed as Board Chair of HAP and as a Henry Ford Health Director and member of its Compensation Committee.
She was a Certified Public Accountant for more than four decades, and a member of the National Association of Corporate Directors, among others. She earned a BSBA, Accounting, from Central Michigan University, and completed both the Kellogg Executive Education: Women's Director Development Program, Governance, and The Amos Tuck School of Business Administration at Dartmouth College’s Tuck/C&L Partner Development Program.
In her distinguished career, Goforth has served in many professional capacities, including as an Executive Committee member, treasurer and chair of Finance committee, TechTown Detroit; on Health Alliance Plan’s Audit Committee; and as treasurer of Central Michigan University’s College of Business Administration Foundation, among many others.
