Catharine Dann Roeber

Catharine Dann Roeber currently serves as the Director of Academic Affairs at Winterthur Museum, Garden and Library, a position held since May 2002, alongside roles as Brock W. Jobe Associate Professor in Decorative Arts and Material Culture and Interim Director of Academic Programs. Previous positions at Winterthur include Assistant Professor, Development Officer for Major Gifts, Curatorial Fellow, Senior Guide, and Lunger Project Associate. Additionally, Catharine served as an Adjunct Professor at Villanova University in 2012 and Assistant Director at The American Table Culinary Tours from 2006 to 2009. Academically, Catharine attained a PhD in History from William & Mary (2000-2011), a Master’s degree in the Winterthur Program in Early American Culture from the University of Delaware (1998-2000), and a BA in Anthropology from William & Mary (1994-1998).
