Carissa Bortugno

Carissa Bortugno, PharmD BCSCP FACHE, currently serves as the Vice President of Clinical Support Services at Henry Mayo Newhall Hospital, a position held since May 2011. In this role, Carissa oversees multiple departments, including Laboratory, Pathology, Pharmacy, Imaging, Respiratory, Physical Therapy, Performance Excellence, Environmental Services, and Dietary services. Prior experience includes serving as Director of Pharmacy Services and Senior Director of Clinical Support Services at Henry Mayo Newhall Hospital, as well as holding positions such as Pharmacy Operations Manager and Clinical Pharmacist at Citrus Valley Health Partners. Carissa began their career as a Pharmacy Intern at CVS Caremark Corporation. Educationally, Carissa earned a Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree from Western University of Health Sciences, graduating in 2011.
