Managing Director at Henry Street Settlement

Jonathan Harper is the current Director of Facilities & Operations at Henry Street Settlement. Prior to their current position, they served as the Director of Production at Abrons Arts Center from January 2016 to July 2018. Jonathan also held the position of Technical Director/Production Manager at Abrons Arts Center from February 2013 to January 2016. Harper's other previous positions include Draftsman and Metal Sculptor at Perfection Electricks, Lighting Supervisor at Pilobolus, Lighting Super at Aspen Santa Fe Ballet, Assistant Lighting Supervisor at Cedar Lake Contemporary Ballet, Tour Production Manager at PS122, and Co-Owner at Harper-Gunn Holzarbeit. Jonathan has also been a self-employed Lighting Designer and a Master Electrician at the American Dance Festival.

Jonathan Harper has an executive certificate in non-profit leadership and management from Baruch School of Public Affairs. Jonathan also has a Master of Fine Arts in lighting design for performing arts from University of Tennessee, Knoxville. Lastly, they have a Bachelor of Arts in drama and dramatics/theatre arts, general from University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
