Oliver Krestin

Managing Director at Hensel Recycling

Oliver Krestin has a diverse work experience in the recycling and precious metal industry. Oliver started their career at Degussa AG as a Sales Manager for PM Refining in 1992. Oliver then worked at DEMET Deutsche Edelmetall Recycling AG as the Head of Materials Management from 1999 to 2003. Next, they joined Johnson Matthey as Manager of Business Development from 2003 to 2008. Oliver then moved on to Duesmann & Hensel International GmbH as the Executive Vice President from 2008 to 2011. During this time, they also served as a Director in different branches of Hensel Recycling. In 2011, they became the Director of Hensel Recycling North America and later joined Hensel Recycling Austria GmbH as the Prokurist. In 2013, they became the Managing Director of Hensel Recycling and continued this role. Oliver also served as an Officer in the European Chapter of the International Precious Metal Institute starting from 2015. In 2016, they joined the International Precious Metals Institute (IPMI) and held various leadership positions, including Treasurer, Vice President, President, and Past President.

Oliver Krestin completed their education at Kaufm. Schulen II in Hanau from 1987 to 1990. During this time, they pursued their Abitur degree and focused on studying subjects such as Mathematik, Wirtschaftslehre, and Chemie.
