Dr. Birgit Jung has over 30 years´ experience in Pharma research and development and joined HepaRegeniX in early 2019 from Boehringer Ingelheim Pharma GmbH & Co. KG where she was instrumental in driving the pre-clinical profiling and characterization of drug candidates. Under her supervision several research projects targeting novel mode of actions were successfully concluded and entered clinical development including one product launch. Birgit holds an MD and a specialization in Pharmacology and Toxicology.
