Brian Bender

Brian Bender has a diverse work experience in the field of scientific research. Brian currently holds the position of Senior Scientist II at Sosei Heptares since January 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the University of California, San Francisco from February 2019 to December 2021. Their previous role was as a Research Assistant at Harvard Medical School from July 2011 to June 2013, where they focused on studying the role of viral proteins in the replication of human cytomegalovirus using microscopy and proteomics techniques to map interaction pathways.

Brian Bender attended Colgate University from 2007 to 2011, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Biochemistry. Brian later pursued further education at Vanderbilt University from 2013 to 2018, where they completed their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Pharmacology.
