Candelle Chong

Candelle Chong has extensive work experience in the corporate strategy and investment banking fields. Candelle began their career as an Investment Banking Analyst at J.P. Morgan in February 2013 and worked there until April 2018. During their time at J.P. Morgan, they held the position of Investment Banking Associate from February 2016 to April 2018.

In April 2018, Candelle joined Sosei Heptares as Vice President of Corporate Strategy. Candelle worked in this role for four years until April 2022. After that, they were promoted to Senior Vice President of Corporate Strategy and held this position for one year until March 2023. Currently, Candelle serves as Executive Vice President and Chief of Staff at Sosei Heptares, starting in March 2023.

Candelle Chong obtained a Bachelor of Laws (LLB, Hons.) and a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom, Finance) from UNSW between 2008 and 2012. Additionally, in 2010, they participated in a Study Abroad Exchange Program at the Texas McCombs School of Business and pursued a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA, Finance) through a scholarship. Candelle also received an Overseas Short Term Study Scholarship in 2012 to study Intellectual Property Law at Shanghai Jiao Tong University - KoGuan Law School. Prior to their university education, Candelle attended Pennant Hills High School from 2002 to 2007.
