Daniel Jones

Daniel Jones has held various roles in the field of science and chemistry. Daniel is currently a Senior Scientist 1 at Sosei Heptares, starting in April 2022. Prior to this, they served as a Committee Member on the Fine Chemicals Group at SCI: Where Science Meets Business since November 2018. From July 2018 to March 2022, they worked as a Senior Scientist 1 at Charles River Laboratories, and from December 2017 to July 2018, they held the position of Scientist at the same company. In 2020, they worked as a Laboratory and Team Lead at Cambridge National COVID-19 Testing Centre from August 2020 to January 2021. Additionally, from October 2015 to July 2017, they served as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at Imperial College London. Daniel also had an internship experience at KPMG in June 2017. Earlier in their career, they held the role of Associate Chemist at Peakdale Molecular from July 2014 to September 2014 and worked as an Industrial Placement Student at Redx Pharma from July 2013 to June 2014.

Daniel Jones completed their education in the field of chemistry. Daniel obtained a Master of Chemistry (MChem) degree from the University of York, where they studied from 2010 to 2014. Following this, they pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Organic Chemistry at Imperial College London, from 2014 to 2017.
