Jon Tyzack

Jon Tyzack has a strong background in scientific research and management accounting. Jon is currently working as a Senior Scientist at Sosei Heptares since November 2022. Prior to this, they served as a Postdoctoral Fellow at EBI from October 2015 until October 2022. Jon also worked as a Senior Scientist at Optibrium Ltd. from April 2014 to September 2015. Jon's previous experience includes a role as a Scientist at Cambridge University from January 2011 to March 2014. Before transitioning to the field of scientific research, they worked as a Management Accountant at Aviva from September 2003 to December 2010.

Jon Tyzack obtained a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry from the University of Bristol, where they studied from 1996 to 1999. Prior to that, they attended the Royal Grammar School High Wycombe from 1988 to 1994. In 2006, they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Computational and Mathematical Sciences at The Open University, completing their studies in 2010. Subsequently, Jon Tyzack pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Cheminformatics at the University of Cambridge, graduating in 2014. Jon also attended Francis Edmunds from 1982 to 1988, although no specific degree or field of study is mentioned for that time period.
