Sophie Bradley has a varied work experience in the field of translational biology and neuroscience. Sophie currently works at Sosei Heptares as a Director in Translational Biology since January 2023 and previously held the position of Associate Director in Pre-Clinical Translational Neuroscience from September 2021 to January 2023. Prior to joining Sosei Heptares, Sophie worked at the University of Glasgow, where they served as an Honorary Senior Research Fellow since September 2021. Sophie also held the roles of Senior Lecturer from June 2020 to August 2021 and Lord Kelvin Adam Smith Fellow from June 2016 to June 2020. Before their time at the University of Glasgow, Sophie worked as a Career Development Fellow at the Medical Research Council from July 2012 to June 2016. Sophie began their career as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the University of Leicester from April 2011 to June 2012.
Sophie Bradley pursued their education at the University of Leicester where they completed a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Cell Physiology and Pharmacology from 2004 to 2007. Following that, they continued their studies at the same university and obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Pharmacology, completing it from 2007 to 2011.
