Abigail Duchow

Abigail Duchow is an experienced media professional currently serving as the Copy Desk Chief and Opinion Editor at Central Washington University's The Observer since January 2020, where responsibilities include supervising reporters, editing stories to AP style guidelines, and designing newspaper layouts. Abigail has also held roles at The Observer as Scene Editor and Senior News Reporter, demonstrating strong skills in news writing and photography. Additionally, Abigail has contributed to Abigail's Campus Media as Marketing and Events Director and Content Writer since September 2019. Abigail earned a Bachelor of Arts in Public Relations and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Central Washington University, along with an Associate of Arts and Sciences from Wenatchee Valley College.
