Rita Ugwu

Rita Ugwu has a diverse work experience in the medical field. Rita is currently working as the Chief Medical Officer at HER ONE, a female wellness brand that focuses on beauty, well-being, and gut health. In this role, they lead innovation and product development, evaluates new markets, and manages budget and scientific research for new product launches.

Prior to this, Rita worked as a Medical Expert at FoundersLane from December 2019 to November 2020. Before that, they were a Resident Doctor at Charité from March 2019 to December 2019. Rita also has experience as a Medical Advisor at Pfizer from December 2018 to May 2019.

In addition, Rita has worked as a Surgery Resident at Evangelische Elisabeth Klinik from 2017 to 2018, and at MEOCLINIC GmbH from 2015 to 2016.

Rita Ugwu completed their education in Human Medicine at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin from 2008 to 2014, earning a State examination degree.
