Dimitris Chanis

Dimitris Chanis has a long and diverse work experience at the HERACLES Group, member of LafargeHolcim. Dimitris started as a Maintenance Engineer in 2003 and later held various roles including Sarbanes Oxley Project Champion, Purchasing Supervisor, and LAVA Mining & Quarrying General Manager. In 2013, they became the Aggregates & Concrete General Manager, and then in 2016, they took on the role of Cement & Aggregates Sales General Manager. Dimitris was subsequently promoted to the position of General Manager Commercial in July 2017. Finally, in February 2018, Dimitris Chanis became the CEO of HERACLES Group.

Dimitris Chanis completed an Executive Education Program in Business Administration and Management at INSEAD in 2013-2014. Prior to that, they obtained an International MBA in Business Administration and Management from Athens University of Economics and Business from 2005-2007. Their earlier education includes a Diploma in Management Engineering from Technical University of Crete, which they acquired from 1995-2000.
