Jonathan Blake has a long and extensive work experience in the legal field, particularly in investment funds and international private capital funds. Jonathan started their career at Stephenson Harwood LLP in 1977 and worked there as an Associate until 1982. Jonathan then joined King & Wood Mallesons SJ Berwin, where they held the role of Head of International Funds Team for over 35 years until 2017. After that, they worked at O'Melveny & Myers LLP as part of the Investment Funds Team from 2017 to 2019. Currently, they are the Head Of International Private Capital Funds Strategy at Herbert Smith Freehills.

Jonathan Blake attended Haberdashers' Boys' School from 1964 to 1971. Jonathan then pursued higher education at the University of Cambridge from 1972 to 1976, where they obtained a Master of Arts (MA) degree in Economics and Law as well as a Master of Laws (LLM) degree.
