Shariq Naveed

Shariq Naveed has a strong background in the pharmaceutical industry, with extensive experience in various managerial roles. Shariq currently holds the position of Business Unit Head at Herbion International, starting in April 2023. Prior to that, they worked as the DGM/Business Unit Head at Herbion Pakistan (Pvt) Limited from May 2019 to April 2023. Before that, they served as the Group Product Manager at Herbion Pakistan Private Limited from January 2017 to May 2019.

Shariq Naveed has also worked as the Admin & Business Development Manager at Sunrise Trading & Contracting Company in Doha, Qatar, from October 2013 to November 2014. Shariq gained sales experience as the Sales Manager at Saffron Pharmaceuticals (pvt) Ltd from July 2012 to September 2013.

Furthermore, Shariq Naveed has several years of managerial experience at Barrett Hodgson Pakistan (Pvt) Limited, where they served as a Manager from January 2003 to August 2009. Shariq began their career as a Sales Promotion Officer at Knoll Pharmaceutical (Formerly Boots Pharmaceutical & now Abbot Laboratories) from February 1996 to December 1997.

Shariq Naveed obtained a Matriculation degree from Sindh Madersatul Islam National Pilot Secondary School in the academic year 1987-1988. Shariq then pursued an Intermediate degree in Science Pre-Medical from Islamia Science College from 1989-1990. Finally, Shariq completed their education with a Master's degree in Microbiology and Immunology from Karachi University, during the period of 1991-1995.
