Jody Leonhardt

Jody Leonhardt has a strong background in human resources, with a focus on HR administration, recruiting, and management. They most recently worked as the Regional Human Resources Director at Herc Rentals starting in November 2019. Prior to that, Jody served as the District Human Resources Manager at The Home Depot from 2002 to 2019, where they were responsible for improving HR practices and overseeing HR administration for the Illinois/Indiana District. They also worked as the Strategic Staffing Manager at Harrah's Joliet Casino & Hotel from 1999 to 2001, where they managed recruiting, hiring, and compliance with gaming regulations. Jody began their HR career as the Human Resources Director at Lake Lawn Resort from 1998 to 1999, where they were responsible for HR administration, including recruiting and training.

Jody Leonhardt attended Morraine Valley Community College from 1989 to 1990, where they studied Human Resources Management/Personnel Administration. They then transferred to DePaul University and obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Human Resources Management/Personnel Administration from 1990 to 1992. In 2019, Jody Leonhardt obtained the Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) certification from the HR Certification Institute - HRCI.
