Angela Nicholas

Angela Nicholas, Ph.D. has extensive work experience in human resources, focusing on employee relations and directing HR departments. Angela is currently serving as the Regional Senior Human Resources Director for the American Heart Association. Prior to this, they held the position of Human Resources Director at Piedmont Virginia Community College from May 2021 to February 2022. From August 2018 to May 2021, they worked as a Senior Employee Relations Consultant at Virginia Commonwealth University, and also served as an Adjunct Professor from January 2020 to May 2020. Angela Nicholas previously worked as a Senior Human Resources Director at CareOne from May 2013 to June 2018.

Angela Nicholas, Ph.D., holds a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD degree from Regent University. Angela also has a Master of Business Administration - MBA degree from the University of Mary Washington and a Bachelor of Arts - BA degree from the University of Virginia. In addition, Angela has obtained certifications in Business Strategy, Problem Solving, and Adaptability & Resilience from McKinsey & Company in 2023.
