John Barbour

John Barbour has a strong background in network engineering and IT systems. John started their career as a System Engineer at TFE, where they were responsible for installing, troubleshooting, and maintaining IT systems. John then worked as a Network Engineer at Global Asset, providing technical support and problem resolution. John also served in the US Navy/Navy Reserves as an Information Technician Chief Petty Officer, leading the 3-M maintenance program and ensuring network gear was up to Navy standards. Most recently, they worked as a Network Engineer for the City of Frisco, where they were responsible for managing data and wireless connectivity. John is currently a Network Engineer Lead at Herc Rentals.

John Barbour obtained an Associate of Science (A.S.) degree in Networking Technologies from North Central Texas College, where they studied from 2011 to 2015. In addition to their degree, they have various certifications related to networking, including Cisco Certified Specialist - Enterprise Core, CCNA, Networking Technology - Cisco Systems, Cisco Certified Network Associate Route/Switch, Cisco Certified Network Professional Route/Switch, and Certified Meraki Networking Associate.
