Robert Vanderpool

Robert Vanderpool has extensive experience in fleet management, currently serving as Region Fleet Manager for Herc Rentals since May 2016, overseeing an $800 million fleet across 80 locations in the Central US. Prior roles include Branch Manager for Herc Rentals, where continuous improvement was emphasized in sales, operations, and maintenance for a $43 million fleet, and Director of Service at BlueLine Rental, responsible for a $1.4 billion fleet and leading a team of 100 Service Managers and 500 Technicians. Additional experience includes fleet and facility management positions at Republic Services Inc. and Waste Management, Inc., as well as a long tenure at Granite Construction. Education includes a Technical Degree in Welding Engineering Technology from Truckee Meadows College and certifications in Fleet Management.
