Alexandria Vasquez has a diverse work experience. Alexandria began their career in 2012 as an Associate Researcher at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology where they helped create the nonprofit ICT and was the leading qualitative researcher on the founding team. In the same year, they also co-founded lilipod, a job search app based from sociological research on the emotional experience of unemployment. In 2014, they co-founded da. to. da, a small design atelier for slower living. In 2015, they worked as an Adjunct Professor at Drexel University. In 2016, they co-founded Purveyours, a shop that provides honest goods that naturally clarify your everyday. In 2018, they became the Founder & Creative Director of Herderin, a comfort-forward brand based in San Rafael CA focused on climate neutral textiles and ethical, local production. In 2019, they worked as an Adjunct Professor at Mills College.
