Walter Herding

In 1977, Walter Herding is a highly creative mechanical engineer set up his own business with the vision of developing the optimal industrial dust extraction system. The invention of the Herding sinter-plate filter - a rigid, sintered filter medium - was the crucial breakthrough which earned him a worldwide reputation as a partner who could deliver complete industrial dry dust extraction systems.

In April 2020, Walter handed over his majority share in the company to his son Dr.-Ing. Urs Herding.
