Sanjay Kumar Boddhu

Sanjay Kumar Boddhu, Ph.D., is a highly experienced professional in AI, machine learning, and automation engineering, currently serving as the Head of AI/ML and Senior Director of Automation Engineering for Autonomous Driving Maps at HERE Technologies since 2017. Boddhu has led multiple initiatives in AI/ML techniques for advanced map-making automation, supervising geographically distributed teams focused on perception and detection engineering. In addition to a prominent role at HERE Technologies, Boddhu is an instructor and advisor at the University of Chicago and serves on the advisory council for Harvard Business Review. Boddhu's previous experience includes directorial positions in data science and AI/ML engineering at Finch Computing and a research scientist role at Qbase Inc.
