Michael Haynes

Michael Haynes has held various executive leadership roles in several companies throughout their career. Michael served as the Chief Financial Officer at Heritage Auctions, the largest collectibles auctioneer and third largest auction house globally, from December 2014 onwards. Prior to that, they were the Chief Executive Officer at APMEX, Inc., a leading precious metals retailer, from July 2010 to October 2014. Michael also served on the Board of Directors at Meade Instruments, a publicly traded company in consumer electronics, from 2009 to 2013. Additionally, they held the position of Chief Executive Officer at Black, Starr & Frost, a luxury jewelry retailer, in 2009 and at Collectors Universe, a special services company providing quality ratings, from 2003 to 2009. Throughout their career, they have demonstrated expertise in financial management, strategic partnerships, and expanding brand recognition.

Michael Haynes earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Southern Methodist University from 1969 to 1973. Following this, they pursued a Master of Business Administration in Finance and Marketing from Southern Methodist University's Cox School of Business from 1973 to 1976.
