Tamara Wegmann

Tamara Wegmann has a diverse and extensive work experience in the legal and compliance field. Tamara started their career as a Legal Counsel at Scornik Gerstein LLP, where they provided general advice to international clients in areas such as international contracts, real estate, corporate, and litigation. Later, they joined NH Hotel Group and held various roles, including Corporate Legal Manager, where they advised on corporate investment projects and negotiated and drafted contracts. Tamara also served as the Director of Corporate Legal and Compliance, leading the compliance and data protection function for the group. Additionally, Tamara was a member of the Compliance Committee at WLW | Women in a Legal World and a member of the Executive Committee at the Instituto Oficiales Cumplimiento. Currently, they are the Group Head of Legal & Compliance at HERITAGE B, where they have global legal and compliance responsibility for the Teka Group, Strohm, and Thielmann divisions. Tamara also serves as the Secretary of the Board and the Executive Committee of the Group. Overall, Tamara Wegmann has a strong background in legal and compliance management, with experience in international operations, M&A, and team leadership.

Tamara Wegmann has a diverse educational background. In 1996, they obtained their Bachelor's degree (Licenciada en Derecho) in Law from Universidad CEU San Pablo. In 2000-2001, they pursued a specialization in European Law at the University of Augsburg. Later, in 2010-2011, they attended IE Business School to complete their Master of Business Administration (MBA). In 2015, Tamara acquired certification in Legal Project Management from IE Business School. In 2017, they became an Especialista en Compliance after completing a program at AENOR. In 2018, they briefly attended ESADE for the "Programa para Consejeros ESADE-PwC." The same year, they started their journey at ISDE, where they have been a Professor in the Master Corporate program since 2018 until present. In 2019, Tamara became a Certified Data Protection Officer from Maastricht University. Additionally, during 2019-2020, they pursued a Master's degree in Data Protection, Innovation, and Security (Master Protección de Datos, Innovación y Seguridad) at Universidad Nebrija.
