James Talbot possesses extensive experience in financial crimes analytics and data warehousing. Currently serving as the Financial Crimes Analytics Lead at Heritage Bank since September 2012, James has demonstrated expertise in PRM rule writing, automated reporting, and the development of fraud detection roadmaps. Previous roles include Data Warehouse Developer, where significant contributions were made in SQL development and Data Vault migration, as well as Programmer, focusing on core banking programs. Additionally, James has briefly worked as a Consultant Data Scientist at Two Bulls, where a notable paper on anomaly detection in resident behavior was authored. Educationally, James holds a Bachelor of Science with Honors in Mathematics and Statistics from the University of Southern Queensland.
