Whitney Taylor has over 20 years of experience in the social services field. Whitney began their career in 1996 as a Senior Child Care Counselor at Urban Strategies Runaway Program. In 1999, they became a Job Developer/Case Manager at The National Center for Children and Families. In 2003, they moved to Women In Need, Inc. (Win) where they served as an Employment Specialist. Taylor then worked as a Case Manager at Neighborhood Housing Services of New York City, Inc. from 2007 to 2009. Whitney then moved to St. Nicholas Alliance as a Senior Case Manager/Case Manager from 2009 to 2012. From 2012 to 2014, Taylor was a Senior Case Manager at Heritage Health and Housing. Whitney is currently a Care Specialist at SCO Family of Services since 2019. Throughout their career, Taylor has provided supervision to the case management team, advocacy services to assigned caseload, counseling clients, facilitating psycho-educational groups, and participating in multiple disciplinary treatment teams. Whitney has also assisted participants with navigating Human Resources Administration, referred participants in need of housing to housing programs, conducted vocational assessments and screenings, promoted vocational workshops, and facilitated workshops and groups that supported job readiness and independent living skills.

Whitney Taylor attended Touro University from 2009-2013, where they earned both a Bachelor's Degree and a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) in Human Services, with a concentration in Children and Family.
