Brian also worked as the South Carolina territory manager at Smith Turf & Irrigation and served as treasurer on the board of directors for the Greater Columbia Landscape Association. Brian's early career included service in the United States Marine Corps from 1996 to 2004, achieving the rank of sergeant, and Brian is a graduate of the University of South Carolina-Beaufort.
