James Dolas

James Dolas is an experienced educator and technology professional, currently serving as the Science Department Chair at Heritage Preparatory School since May 2015, where responsibilities include teaching high school physics and middle school sciences. In addition to educational leadership, James has been an active member of the City Church-Eastside since its inception in 2011, holding the position of Clerk of the Session. Prior to their current roles, James dedicated time as a full-time parent while also holding various engineering positions, including Senior Software Engineer at Wave7 Optics Inc. and Communications Test Design Inc. James holds a Master’s degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer and Electrical Engineering from Purdue University.
