Charlene Nemson currently serves as the CSR & Compliance Director for Jewelry at Hermès, focusing on sustainability, ethics, and compliance within the jewelry sector since January 2019. Responsibilities include due diligence in mining and manufacturing processes, implementing ESG KPI improvement strategies, ensuring regulatory compliance, and representing Hermès at industry initiatives. Previously, Charlene held roles such as the Head of Corporate Social Responsibility for Hermès Jewelry, Co-founder & CFO (Interim) at Agate-ID, and Head of Business Analysis at Marley Spoon, among others, with a strong background in investment banking and financial analysis. Academic credentials include a Master of International Affairs from Columbia University, a Master de Sciences Po in Finance & International Business, and a certification as an Applied Jewelry Professional from the Gemological Institute of America.
