Tom Francke

Tom Francke has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Tom has worked as the CEO and Chairman at Hermes Medical Solutions since 2016. Prior to that, they held the position of Partner at Myon since 1997. From 2009 to 2019, Tom served as the CEO and Chairman at Conflux AB, where they turned around an innovation house and transformed it into an international supplier of heating technology. Tom also served as the CEO and Director of the Board at GoDoc AB from 2013 to 2019. Additionally, Tom has held roles such as Director of the Board at Savantic AB, Chief Business Officer at Tacton Systems AB, Vice Chairman of the Board at SuperSonic Imagine, and CEO and Director of the Board at XCounter. Tom has also worked as a Senior Scientist in Astrophysics for organizations including NASA, CERN, CNRS, and KTH.

Tom Francke began their education in 1984 at the Stockholm School of Economics, where they pursued studies in an unspecified field. Tom then went on to complete their M.Sc. in Mathematics & Physics at the KTH Royal Institute of Technology from 1983 to 1986. Additionally, they engaged in military service with the Swedish Armed Forces in 1982, focusing on seamanship onboard HMS Gladan at the Swedish Navy Academy. Continuing their academic journey, Tom obtained a Ph.D. in Experimental Particle Physics at the KTH Royal Institute of Technology between 1987 and 1991. Later, in 1992, they specialized in astrophysics as an Associate Professor at the KTH Royal Institute of Technology and also pursued French Studies at the University of Geneva. Finally, from 1998 to 2000, Tom attended the Stockholm School of Economics, this time focusing on Business and Administration Management for Graduate Engineers.
