Carl Lyon

Carl Lyon began their career in 1993 as an engineering apprentice with the Merseyside Fire & Rescue Service. Carl quickly rose through the ranks to become a technician and then an operational manager with Christian Salvesen. In 2006, they joined TNT Post UK as a depot operations manager, responsible for 100+ employees. Carl was promoted to senior depot manager in 2010 and then to network development manager in 2012. In 2013, they joined Hermes as COO of Hermes UK. Carl is a key sponsor for business and cross-functional development and has been instrumental in the success of Hermes UK.

Carl Lyon studied transport and logistics at LJMU and holds a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in the subject.

Their manager is Martijn De Lange, CEO of Hermes UK. and John Clark - Director of Operations reports to Carl Lyon.
