Ellen Malloy

Manager of Manufacturing Engineering at Hermeus

Ellen Malloy has a diverse work experience, beginning with a role as Head Lifeguard at Knights of Columbus in 2012. In 2016, they were a Mechanical Engineering Intern at Bowman Creek Educational Ecosystem (BCe2). In 2017, they were a Technical Intern at GE Power. Between 2018 and 2020, they had various roles at GE Power, including Advanced Controls Software Engineer, Additive Manufacturing Engineer, Hot Gas Path Design Engineer, and Accessories Fluid Systems Engineer. In 2020, they moved to ABL Space Systems, where they were a Lead Additive Manufacturing Engineer and Additive Manufacturing Engineer. Currently, they are working at Hermeus as Manager of Manufacturing Engineering and Senior Additive Engineer.

Ellen Malloy attended the University of Notre Dame from 2014 to 2018, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering. Ellen then attended North Carolina State University from 2018 to 2021, where they earned a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering. In addition, they obtained a Edison Engineering Development Program certification from GE Power in May 2020, an Advanced Courses in Engineering certification from GE Power in February 2020, and a Standard First Aid, CPR and AED certification from the American Red Cross in October 2020.
