Sean Xiang

Sean Xiang is the Chairman and CEO of Hermitage Capital, a private equity firm with US$1 billion in assets under management. With offices in Hong Kong and Shanghai, Hermitage Capital invests across the value chain of China’s new economy sectors, in particular the enterprise technology and Internet sectors. Sean founded Hermitage Capital in 2017 with a team of veteran investment bankers and investment professionals. Hermitage Capital’s active portfolio includes Tencent Music, SenseTime, Horizon Robotics, Airwallex, XTaipi, WeDoctor, Lufax, Ximalaya, Medlinker, etc.

Prior to founding Hermitage Capital, Sean served as Managing Director at Munsun Asset Management (Asia) Limited for 1 year and 3 months. Sean began their career as an analyst at Macquarie Bank for 2 years and 4 months before moving to J.P. Morgan where they worked as an associate in the China Investment Banking team for 6 years and 2 months.

Sean Xiang is currently enrolled in the Executive Master of Business Administration program at Tsinghua University. Their field of study is economic management and they is expected to graduate in 2022.
