Kinsey Boylan

Director of Forensic Science Kinsey Boylan joined the Hernando County Sheriff’s Office in 2005 as a Forensic Technician I. Since, she has held the positions of Forensic Technician II, Forensic Specialist and was promoted to the Director of Forensic Science in November of 2016. Director Boylan has received her Associate in Science degree in Crime Scene Technology from St. Petersburg College and a Bachelor of Science in Applied Science with a concentration in Criminal Justice from the University of South Florida. In 2006, she gained the status of a court accepted expert in bloodstain pattern analysis. Director Boylan oversees the Forensic Unit, Biometric Unit and Multi-Media Unit. She is an active member of the International Association for Identification.
