Abby Ban

Abby Ban is a seasoned procurement buyer at Hero Group, specializing in market intelligence and strategic sourcing since February 2023. With extensive experience in food development, Abby has worked at Organix Brands Ltd as a senior food developer, focusing on new opportunities in the baby and children’s food market from February 2006 to July 2023. Previous roles include product development technologist at Bakkavor, where project management and product innovation were key responsibilities, and development technologist at Ferndale Foods, working on ready meals for leading retailers. Abby's career began as an R&D technologist at Kerry Ingredients, contributing to dairy production innovations. Academically, Abby holds a BSc in Food Product Development with Nutrition from the University of Plymouth, supplemented by studies in food science at S.I.T International College and Hin Hua High School in Malaysia.
