Giovanni Ciserani

Verona-born Giovanni Ciserani worked his way up the ranks at P&G to become one of the company’s top executives. Educated at the prestigious Bocconi University in Milan, Italy, Ciserani spent his entire career at P&G, where he worked for more than 30 years. He retired from the position of Sector Group President Global Fabric and Home Care, Global Baby and Feminine Care at P&G in November 2018.

Ciserani, who is based in Switzerland, joined the Hero Group Board of Directors in 2017. He took over the position of Chairman of the Board of Directors in March 2019 from Dr Hasso Kaempfe who had held the position since January 2013. Ciserani’s position as Chairman was approved during the company's General Assembly in March 2019. Ciserani is also Chairman of the Hero Group Human Resources Committee.
