Akhilesh Vijay is a seasoned professional with over two decades of experience in the automotive industry, currently serving as the National Sales Head for Parts & Oil Business, Accessories, and Merchandise at Hero MotoCorp Ltd since May 2000. Akhilesh has successfully implemented innovative strategies, such as a multilayer distribution model that boosted business growth by 15% CAGR over three years and established Hero MotoCorp as a prominent player in the genuine oil market with a target to reach a 1000 Cr brand. Previous roles include Head of Two Wheelers Sales Strategy and Planning, where Akhilesh enhanced consumer experience and managed significant product launches, as well as Project Manager for Hero Connect, where an integrated CRM and DMS was executed across dealer networks.
