Raymael Blackwell has extensive work experience in the fields of education, public health, and nonprofit management, spanning over 15 years. Raymael has worked for various organizations such as the Colorado Gives Foundation, Denver Scholarship Foundation, and Goodwill Industries of Denver, where they have held roles such as a program officer, college and career advisor, and mentoring program facilitator. In their most recent role as a senior program officer at the Caring for Denver Foundation, they led a team of program officers to distribute over $110MM in support of nonprofit organizations working to improve mental health and wellness outcomes for Denver residents. Raymael also served as a Peace Corps Volunteer Leader in Ethiopia and worked as an Upward Bound College and Career Advisor at Colorado State University. In 2023, they joined the Heroic Public Benefit Corporation as a Heroic Coach & Ambassador, where they helped integrate ancient wisdom, modern science, and world-class, scientifically-validated behavioral design tools to help people show up as their best, most Heroic version of themselves.

Raymael Blackwell has a Master of Public Administration (MPA) in Nonprofit Management from the University of Colorado Denver, which they earned between 2014 and 2016. Raymael also received a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Psychology from Colorado State University between 2000 and 2004. In addition, Blackwell has obtained two certifications, including a Results-Based Accountability Professional Certification from Clear Impact, LLC in June 2019 and a Certified Nonprofit Professional (CNP) certification from Nonprofit Leadership Alliance in April 2016.
