Wayne Kong

Wayne Kong has extensive work experience in supply chain management and logistics. Wayne served as the Director of Supply Chain Management and Logistics at Heron Therapeutics, Inc. from 2012 to present. Prior to that, they were the Associate Director of Supply Chain Management at Alexza Pharmaceuticals from 2008 to 2012. Wayne also held the role of Associate Director of Supply Management at Nektar Therapeutics (formerly Inhale) from 2001 to 2008. Before that, they worked as a Sr. Materials Manager at Powderject Technology from 1999 to 2001 and at Norian Corporation from 1996 to 1999. Wayne began their career as a Materials Manager at Aesculap Inc from 1989 to 1996.

Wayne Kong obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from UC San Diego.
