Denise Cooksey

Denise Cooksey, PHR, SHRM-CP, currently serves as the Human Resources Director at Heron's Key, a position held since February 2024. Prior to this role, Denise held the title of Senior Account Manager at Brown & Brown Insurance from February 2022 to February 2024. Denise's extensive experience in human resources includes a long tenure as HR Director and Employee Relations at Tacoma Lutheran Retirement Community from February 2003 to February 2022. Denise Cooksey is an alumnus of Tacoma Community College.
