Hiroya Mori is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in various leadership roles. Currently serving as Chief Financial Officer at HEROZ, Inc. since October 2021, Hiroya previously held the position of General Manager of Finance at PERSOL Holdings Co., Ltd. from January 2014 to September 2021, overseeing accounting, consolidated accounting, finance, M&A, investor relations, and management accounting. Other notable positions include COO at Intelligence Executive Search Ltd. and involvement in management at intelligence Ltd. from 2002 to 2010, as well as consulting roles focused on M&A and financial advisory at Interasset and Century Audit Firm earlier in their career. HEROZ, founded by amateur Grandmaster of Japanese chess, possesses a unique core technology of artificial intelligence (AI), named as "HEROZ Kishin."We have accumulated such technology as a machine learning and deep learning through the development of AI for Japanese Chess, Chess, Backgammon and Go.Now we are applying its cutting edge AI technology into various industries to solve difficult issues. It was around that time that Hayashi began to believe in the immense possibilities of artificial intelligence (AI) which contributed to the improvement of his shogi techniques and skills.
