Jeff Herren

Jeff Herren is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Herren Associates, Inc., an engineering and management consultancy that focuses on driving operational improvements and managing performance for clients. Jeff has been with the company since 1989. Jeff also served as a member of the Industrial and Systems Engineering Advisory Board at Virginia Tech since 2012. Prior to founding their own company, they worked as an Industrial and Systems Engineering Consultant and an Industrial Engineer at GenCorp (formerly Atlantic Research Corporation), where they developed manufacturing processes and implemented Manufacturing Resource Planning systems. Jeff also provided consulting and executive advisory services to the Departamento De Hacienda in Puerto Rico as an engagement lead at Booz Allen Hamilton.

Jeff Herren earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial and Systems Engineering from Mississippi State University, which they attended from 1976 to 1979. Jeff later pursued a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) with a focus on Finance at The George Washington University School of Business, completing their studies from 1990 to 1993.
