Jigar Patel

Jigar Patel is a Mechanical Development Engineer with a diverse background in design and development across various industries. Currently employed at Herrenknecht AG since August 2021, Jigar previously held positions as a Design and Development Engineer at ATESTEO, where optimization of torque measurement in automatic transmissions was a key project. Additional experience includes roles as a Development Engineer at Continental, focusing on high-pressure gasoline pump development and FEM simulation, and at the Fraunhofer Institute for Production Technology IPT, specializing in coupled thermo-mechanical simulations. Earlier experience includes a design engineer role at L&T Heavy Engineering, contributing to product development through CAD modeling. Jigar holds a Master's degree in Computational Mechanics from the University of Duisburg-Essen and a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Gujarat Technological University.
